His many executive roles at GE include CEO of GE Asset Management, a global investment firm with $120B AUM, which he successfully guided through the 2008 financial crisis. As President of NBC Universal Stations, Jay led the operations of NBCU’s 10 television stations, network operations, and syndication business, as well as the Telemundo network and its 16 TV stations.
Prior to joining Davis Partners Group, Jay was CEO of GE Africa, where he expanded GE’s presence to 32 countries and grew revenue at an annual rate of 18% to nearly $4 billion. Jay was twice named Business Leader of the Year by Africa Investor (Ai) magazine and is a frequent speaker on topics of leadership, policy, and investment opportunities in emerging markets.

As a CEO, he grew Broadview International’s revenue sixfold, building the company into the leading independent M&A advisory firm serving the technology industry. As a banker at Broadview (Managing Director), Jefferies (Vice-Chairman), and Evercore (Senior Managing Director), Paul completed more than 150 M&A and financing transactions in nearly every sector of the technology industry. Paul’s 25 years of experience as Board Director at both public and private companies, coupled with his experience advising hundreds of boards as a banker, have made him an expert in Corporate Governance and Boardroom dynamics.
Prior to joining Davis Partners Group, Paul was a Senior Advisor to Evercore Partners. A recognized technology industry thought leader, he has been a keynote speaker in US, Europe, and Asia. She was a critical team lead in designing and delivering the content and messaging for the firm’s flagship client knowledge event, Consilium@BCG, which earned the CEO’s Award for Innovation.
